Hey. these things happen to the best of us. No need to self-deprecate. I went through a car wash with a new car once and that was the last time. It detached my rear wiper blade; I had some words with the car wash people in not one of my friendlier tones. I went to the dealer and the replacement cost was unpleasant. Since then I love washing my car myself. It's like when you create something you can have the pride in what you did without any of the other nonsense. And it's kind of fun on hot summer days.
I feel your pain. Thirty years ago, I was ahead on the technology, now I am behind. I am glad I am old and cranky lol.
